Adrian College with its beautiful architecture and park-like campus is an incredible asset to the city. Neighborhoods close-by and several blocks east offer a wide range of residential styles, sizes and prices. Centennial homes on smaller, easy to maintain city lots, and houses built in every decade through 1970s-80s subdivisions make it possible to find your dream home here. This area is one of Adrian's most active sub-markets, making it easier to buy or sell when you are ready.

These neighborhoods are walkable with public and private schools, a grocery and pharmacy, restaurants, hardware stores, financial institutions, daycare centers and other commercial  businesses located around the perimeter of the area. Special amenities include the Kiwanis Trail on the east end, Riverside Park - Bohn Pool (outdoor) - Burr Pond near the middle, and Dawson Auditorium (home of the Adrian Symphony Orchestra), Arrington Ice Arena (indoor / year 'round), Merillat Sports & Fitness Center, and Adrian College's athletic fields on the west end. This is one of Adrian's most popular residential areas.

Adrian Public School District is the resident school district. While Michigan is a "School of Choice" state, participation in choice programs is optional for districts.
