Adrian Northwest neighborhoods are located north and south of W. Maple at the junction with W. Maumee and U.S. 223 Bypass. The neighborhoods are characterized by 1960s through 1980s construction in many styles. North of W. Maple / W. Maumee are Evergreen Rd./ Trail, Cherry Dr. and Fairfield Dr. South are Pleasant Knoll subdivision and houses along Sand Creek Hwy.
This area enjoys quick access to U.S. 223 (west, south and east routes), Adrian College, The Center and Lenawee Christian School, and the Lenawee Country Club. Adrian High School and most of the districts other grades are located on a campus about 2 miles east. Madison Schools are quickly reached via U.S. 223 Bypass.
Adrian Public Schools is the resident school district. While Michigan is a "School of Choice" state, participation in choice programs is optional for districts.
