"Carpenter's Neighborhood" is an expansion of one of Blissfield's earliest plats. Many houses are second generation construction and there is a delightful mix of styles, features and prices. The neighborhood is defined by W. Adrian St. (US-223) from High St. on the west end of Blissfield Village to where High St. rejoins US-223 east of S. Main St. near the center of town. Houses north of High St. as it turns and runs east and west have a feeling of living in town. Houses south of High St. have farm land, trees or open ground at their back yard limit allowing a country-feel.
