Coventry Courts subdivision is located on Occidental Hwy. about 3/4 miles north of Sutton Rd. in Raisin Township. It was first platted in 1965 for development of 30 homes. Due in part to its popular location between Adrian and Tecumseh, a second plat in 1972 increased the development to 39 lots and a small private park (Bee Park). In 1973 , a 3rd plat added 19 lots on Dorset Dr., plus Coventry Park (private), directly east across Occidental Hwy. Coventry Courts remains a very desirable neighborhood. Some lots on both sides of Occidental have water views, with Coventry Park east of Dorset Dr. featuring a large pond. Interior streets in the original development on the west side of Occidental Hwy. include Northington Dr. (which is the ingress / egress off Occidental), Amberly Ct., Wickham Ct., Hampton Ct., Montrose Ct. and Radcliff Ct.
