Little Stony Lake (Cambridge Twp.) offers 55 acres of surface water and a natural (undeveloped) west side for beautiful sunset views. It is located in the middle of more than a dozen larger and smaller lakes. One of the joys of summering or 12-month living on a Michigan lake is exploring other lakes, parks, and natural preserves nearby. These include Deep Lake/Deep Lake Recreational Park, Washington Lake, Wolf Lake and a chain of 5 lakes to the west, plus Hayes State Park at Wampler’s Lake (796 water acres), and the Onsted State Game Area. Michigan International Speedway is to the north and offers NASCAR® in the summer as well as other popular entertainment and events throughout the year. Get to Little Stony Lake by taking Laird Rd. south off M-50 or Laird Rd. (from the west) or Dewey Lake Beach Rd. (from the south) to the south end of Little Stony Lake. Little Stony Lake Rd. serves lakefront properties along the east and north sides and Oak Grove Rd. sits east of Little Stony Lake Rd. reaching properties off the waterfront. Laird Rd. is the address for a few properties at the southeast corner of the lake.
Onsted Community Schools is the resident school district. While Michigan is a "School of Choice" state, participation in choice programs is optional for districts. The degree and extent of participation are also determined at the local level. Ask your REALTOR® at The Wagley Group for more information.
