You can have it all at Meadow View subdivision and Meadowview Estates subdivision in the City of Adrian! The feel of living out in the country, but still enjoying city utilities and services. Meadow View Estates was platted in 1955 for 41 houses located between W. US-223 (across from Gleaner Life Insurance Society) and Ottawa St. at the southern end of the subdivision. Meadow View Estates started development of an additional 75 housing lots in 1995 building south from Ottawa St.

In Meadow View subdivision you will find homes built in the 1950s through 1970s. These are ranch and 2-story styles with a typical house having at least 1,000 sf and ranging up to 1,500 sf and more. They are available in 2, 3 and 4 bedroom floor plans with 1 full, plus a half-bath and some with 2 full baths. Some have finished basements and have added bedrooms and bathrooms. 2 car garages are common and lots run from a quarter to a half-acre.

In Meadow View Estates, construction started in 1995 and continued into the current decade, with at least a few building lots still available. These newer homes are generally larger and offer contemporary styles and materials inside and out. Homes range from 1,300 sf to 0ver 2,500 sf with 3-4 bedrooms and 2 full baths or 2 plus another half-bath with 2 car garages on a third of an acre to over half an acre lots. Upgraded kitchens, fireplaces, great rooms, and exterior balconies are examples of the amenities available.

 Adrian Public Schools is the resident school district. While Michigan is a "School of Choice" state, participation in choice programs is optional for districts.
