North Yankee Subdivision, a nice development located on the north side of E. Coomer St. across from Morenci Public Schools, includes one 14-unit apartment complex (4 small buildings on the west end) and about 20 single family homes. There is good separation between the quality apartment buildings and private residences. All development has been since 1966. It is a very well-maintained, small neighborhood on Morenci's north side.
