Victory Addition in the Village of Blissfield is bounded by Russell St. on the north, Depot St. on the east, Giles Ave. and S. Lane St. on the west and Sugar St. on the south. Veterans Ave. splits the addition into halves, north and south. Victory Addition was constructed primarily in the 1940s through the 1960s and includes many styles (ranch, two-story, cape cod, bungalow, etc.) in a nice range of house and lot sizes. the neighborhood is home to Bachmeyer Memorial Park which has a baseball / softball diamond, playground equipment and open areas. The neighborhood is within walking or bicycling distance of Blissfield Public Schools (adjacent to the southwest corner of Victory Addition) which also has additional recreation areas. The southeast corner of the neighborhood is industrial and very low impact on residences. This is a very sought after neighborhood.
